Beatrice L. Nichols, 86, of Union City, passed away, Friday, April 26, 2024 at Saint Vincent Hospital. She was born in Union City on May 15, 1937, a daughter of Clyde C. Daley and Augusta B. Moisher Daley. She married Merrill A. Nichols on February 4, 1955, he preceded her in death in 1992. She proudly took care of her children until they got older then began working at Union City Chair Company where she was employed for 20 years. Following her retirement she helped her daughter at her store, Second Time Around. Beatrice was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Union City. She enjoyed crocheting, coloring and baking. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Jeannie Nichols of Union City, Janet Sampson of Union City, Sandra Sampson and her husband, Ronnie of Union City, and Beatrice Fridley and her husband, Jim of Titusville; a son, Larry Nichols of Union City; thirteen grandchildren; many great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; a brother, James "Jim" Daley and his wife, Vivian of Tennessee; two sister in laws, Helen Rodgers and Jackie Jones both of Corry; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband; she was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Clyde C. "Butchy" Daley, and Robert "Bob" Daley; and a step sister, Rita Macera. Family and friends are welcome to call on Wednesday, May 1st from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Warren-Glenn Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 62 S. Main Street, Union City. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm with Pastor Jay Hines, officiating. Beatrice will be laid to rest in Evergreen Cemetery, Union City.
