Barbara L. Tomlinson, 74, of 1220 Chestnut Street, Franklin died October 21, 2012 at her residence. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Born September 26, 1938 in New Brighton, PA, Barbara was the daughter of the late Grant and Alma Ruth (Murray) Laughren. Barbara worked as a Resident Advisor for Life Management Inc. She enjoyed sewing, collecting, gardening, and her dog Oscar. She is survived by her sons; Bruce Tomlinson and wife Sandy of Mars, PA, Jon Tomlinson Jr. and fiance' Joann Cochenour of Franklin and Kirk Tomlinson of Franklin. Her Daughter Sherri Shuffstall of Franklin, her brothers; Grant Laughren Jr. of Franklin and Danald Laughren of Dayton Beach, Fl and her sisters; Darlene Murphy and husband Ted of Negley, OH, Rene Patrician and husband Jack of Las Vegas, NV, and Sally Barker and husband Ray of Freedom, PA. Barbara is additionally survived by her grandchildren; Jessica, Shane, Duane, Kailee, Joshua, Jami, and Joni Ray, and her Great-grandchildren; Keely, Kelsey, Skylor, and Carson. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter Cindy Tomlinson in 1974. A memorial service for Barbara will be held on Friday, October 26 at 10 a.m. at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin with the Rev. Joseph P. Martin, Jr. of the Cooperstown United Methodist Church officiating.
