Arlene G. Donovan, 80 Sunday, August 2, 2009 8:54 PM CDT Arlene G. Donovan, 80, of Moss Grove Road, Centerville, died at her residence Friday, July 31, 2009. She was born in Titusville on Dec. 30, 1928, a daughter of Jess Goodwill and Marion Shaffer Goodwill. She married James E. Donovan on Oct. 10, 1948. He preceded her in death Sept. 23, 2006. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and reading. Survivors include a daughter, Carol Wyant of Townville; three sons, Bradley J. Donovan and his wife, Dolores K., of Titusville, Arthur Donovan and his wife, Pamela, of Centerville, and James Donovan and his wife, Colleen, of Union City; a sister, Betty Kaness of Titusville; two brothers, Donald Goodwill and his wife, Donna, of Waterford, and Ted Goodwill and his wife, Young, of Titusville; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Bruce Donovan; and a great-granddaughter, Kayla. Friends may call at the Willis L. Arnold Funeral Home, a branch of the Roofner-Collins Funeral Home, Box 58, Main Street, Townville, on Tuesday, Aug. 4, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. A committal service will immediately follow at the funeral home with the Rev. Trevor Brubaker of Faith Bible Church officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery.
