Anna M. Rinker, 75, of US 322, passed away at 11:16 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10th, 2013 at UPMC NW, surrounded by her family. Born July 19th, 1937 in Franklin, Ann was the daughter of the late Dienard Dean and Irene Lepley Koch. She was married July 30, 1983 to Russell L. Rinker, and he survives. Ann was a graduate of Emlenton High School; the Oil City School of Beauty; and attended Clarion College. She owned and operated Anns Beauty Shop in Emlenton, and later owned and operated Anns Beauty Salon in Franklin. Anns greatest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Ann is survived by her son, Randy L. Lemmon and his wife, Deb, of Emlenton; her daughter, Bonnie Lemmon-Gilbert of Oil City; her step-son, Daniel L. Rinker and his wife, Sherry, of Franklin; and her step-daughter, DiAnne L. Wessell and her husband, Joseph, also of Franklin. She is also survived by 5 her grandchildren, Nicole Schrecengost and her husband, Tony Young, of Shippenville, Spencer L. Lemmon and his wife, Becky, of Erie, Aaron K. Lemmon and his wife, Jess, of Emlenton, Mande Edwards of Franklin, and Rob Rinker and his wife, Diane, of Clarion; her 5 great-grandchildren, Jacob Young of Shippenville, Abby Lemmon of Erie, Cole Edwards of Franklin, and Riley and Ryan Rinker, both of Clarion; her niece, Shannon Koch of Denton, Texas; and her nephew, Shane Koch and his wife, Anna, of Illinois. Additionally, Ann is survived by her brother, Bud Koch and his wife, Verna Faye, of Herrin, Illinois. In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Lemmon; and an infant granddaughter. Family and friends of Ann will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin on Friday, July 12, from 3 to 7 p.m.. Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday, July 13, at 1 p.m., with Rev. Steven Henry, pastor of Victory Heights United Brethren in Christ Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Starr Cemetery in Nineva. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the charity of ones choice.
