Anna "Annie" Elaine Miller Swartzfager, 60, of 611 Main St., Polk, went home to be with the Lord at 4:15 a.m. Thursday, June 5, 2008, after an extended illness, with her family by her side. Anna was born in Franklin on Nov. 9, 1947, the daughter of the late Joseph Miller and Thelma McKown, and she survives in Franklin. She attended Oil City schools. Anna attended Mount Carmel and other area churches. She worked as a caregiver at Polk Center. Annie liked to go to bingo to visit with her friends. Before her illness, she enjoyed hiking, camping, and fishing. She enjoyed doing anything that involved her children. She was proud of their accomplishments in Kung Fu. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her brothers, James C. Miller, Gerald "Jerry" Miller, both of Oil City, and Kenneth E. Miller and his wife, Sherry, of Seneca; her sister, Lois J. Roberts and her husband, Ed, of Cookeville, Tenn.; her son, Jimmy Snyder; and her three grandchildren, Matthew Russell and Amanda Anna Marie Swartzfager of Polk, whom she raised from infancy, and Jessica Lynne Steetle of Franklin. She is also survived by her great-grandsons, Jalen and Tyrus Wood; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Robert W. Gardinier Funeral Home Inc. in Franklin. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Pastor Rudy Rimer of Calvary Temple in Oil City, officiating. Interment will be at Brandon Cemetery.
