MEADVILLE �” Alexander M. Teed, 7 months and 19 days, of 125 Wadsworth Ave., Meadville, son of Melvin Simons and Nicole Teed, passed away Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011, at Pittsburgh Children’s Hospital, in the loving arms of his father.
He was born in Meadville on June 8, 2010.
He had been in the hospital since his birth.
Survivors include his parents of Meadville; three siblings, Andrew, Nicolette and David Teed at home; his grandparents, Deanne Rainey and Chuck Bentley of Linesville, and Connie Simons and David Kerr of Meadville; several aunts and uncles; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, David Teed; and a cousin, Patrick Simons.
Calling hours and the funeral will be private for the family. Elder Bill Wisniewski of Wadsworth Avenue Evangelical Church will officiate at the funeral.

I just wanted you to know that your family is in my prayers. Your heart is broken, and while I am not able to fix that, if you need anything, I am here. Alex was a fighter. And he is in the arms of Jesus now. This place we all have on Earth is really just our ‘Temporary Home’.
Alex was a very special little angel. I hope that he can now rest in peace. I know that this is a difficult time for your family. I pray that God will heal your hearts. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this most difficult time.
