Albert D. O'neil

COCHRANTON " Albert D. O’Neil, 61, of 18611 Carlskin Road, Cochranton, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2010, at the Meadville Medical Center Emergency Room. Albert was born Feb. 6, 1949, in Meadville, a son of Virgil E. O’Neil and Grace M. Kilgore. He married Shirley Wood on May 2, 1980. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in Vietnam. He attended Reash Church in Cochranton. He was employed with Flex-o-span Steel Buildings, Sandy Lake. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing. He also absolutely loved spending time with his family. Albert is survived by his wife, Shirley O’Neil of Cochranton; sons Albert D. O’Neil Jr. of California, Jeffrey A Hunt and his wife, Suzie L., of Meadville, and Brian E. Hunt and his wife, Shannon M., of Atlantic; daughters Susan O’Neil of Oregon, Twila J. Young and her fiancé, Homer Mack, of Meadville, Kimberly A. Stritzinger and her husband, James E., of Atlantic, and Tammy Cline and her husband, Ricky, of Atlantic; mother Grace M. O’Neil of Cochranton; sisters Peg Lambert and her husband, Keith, of Ohio, and Barb Anstonton and her husband, Pete, of Oil City; brothers Donald O’Neil and his wife, Janice, of Franklin, and Earl O’Neil and his wife, Cindy, of Johnstown; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were daughter Pamela J. Mollock, son Herbert R. Hunt Jr., brother James O’Neil and father Virgil E. O’Neil. Calling hours will be Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Roofner-Collins Funeral Home. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Randy Keeling of Reash Church officiating. Interment will be in Graham Cemetery, Franklin.
