Jack A. Sutton, 85, of Centerville, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2026, at Titusville Rehabilitation and Nursing. Born on June 13, 1940, in Centerville, Jack was the son of Willard H. and Geraldine Goble Sutton. He graduated from Townville High School in 1958 and continued his education in machining at Kerr Center in Titusville.

Jack married the love of his life, Betty L. Sullivan, on August 26, 1961. He had a fulfilling career working at Ajax Iron Works in Corry, driving truck, and starting Sutton Logging with his sons. Jack had a deep passion for the outdoors, enjoying hunting and fishing, and cherished the time spent with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Betty; daughters, Cynthia L. Nottingham (Frank) of Titusville and Susan Peterson (John) of Centerville; sons, Burt Sutton and Robert L. Sutton (Karen), both of Centerville; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; a sister, Virginia Haugh (Gary) of North Carolina; and brothers, Willard Sutton, Jr. (Janice), Jim Sutton, and John Sutton, all of Centerville.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, and four brothers.

Services will be private with burial in Troy Center Cemetery.
