I met Victor and his family many years ago shortly after moving to Meadville. He put a new roof on our house, after which we quickly became the best of friends. We helped each other with everything from cutting firewood to house remodeling. We often took time out of work to go camping, boating or just to sit around the fires on our properties and tell jokes and stories. I feel fortunate to have been able to spend my entire day with him the day before he passed, taking him to a Mexican restaurant which he really enjoyed, and sitting around the stereo listening to oldies an talking about old times. I loved him like a brother, he will be thought of often and never forgotten.
