Born in: Towanda, Pennsylvania

Linda Sue Jukes, 58, of Corry, peacefully went to meet her Savior on February 2, 2022 at UPMC Hamot. She was born on February 17, 1963 in Sayre, Pennsylvania. She married David Jukes. Linda had a degree in music education from Edinboro University. She enjoyed singing, teaching music, drawing, and exercising regularly until her last few years. Most importantly, Linda loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with all her heart, mind, and soul. Anyone who met Linda and spoke with her even for a short time knew quickly she was a woman of great faith. Her passion was that people would know what God had done for her (she survived multiple bouts of cancer) and how she wished they would come to love the Lord as she did. May all of us who believe share what we know as fearlessly as she did. She is survived by her husband of 17 years, David Jukes of Corry; a daughter, Angela Mitchell and her husband Steven of Clymer, New York; two sons, Robert Strathmann of Girard and Thomas Strathmann of Bozeman, Montana; thirteen grandchildren, Weston, Elijah, and Finley Mitchell, Dustin Jukes, Brianna and Timothy Vanderhoof, Anthony and Jayda Strathmann, Isaac, Macie, and Jonathan Mulligan, and Tristan, Emma, and Annaleigh Cumberledge; and three step daughters, Julie Cumberledge and her husband Craig of Rochester, Pennsylvania, Mandy Vanderhoof and her husband Tim of North East, and Mandy Jukes of Corry. A private service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Warren-Glenn Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 62 S. Main Street, Union City.

  1. Linda is my mother Sheri’s sister. My aunt. She was a beautiful person who I remember mostly from my childhood. She often watched after my brother Mark & I when we were little. I remember loving to listen to her play a little guitar and sing. Rest In Peace Aunt Linda with the angels in heaven. ❤️ My sincere condolences to the entire family. God bless.
