John C. Hammer

John C. Hammer, 67, of Guys Mills, passed away, February 1, 2012 at Meadville Medical Center. He was born November 25, 1944 in Meadville, a son of James W. Hammer and Marie M. Repko Hammer. He was a member of Saint Agatha Roman Catholic Church. John enjoyed music, animals, being around people, old time television shows, and being happy. He is survived by a sister, Mary M. Hammer of Guys Mills; a brother, James E. Hammer of Oregon; a aunt, Jo Repko; special cousins, Ed, Phil, Diane, Dick, Carol, and Faye; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, James W. and Marie M. Hammer; and his grandparents. Family and friends are welcome to call on Friday, February 3rd from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at Roofner-Collins-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville. The funeral service will follow at 3:00pm at the funeral home with Father Matthew Kujawinski, pastor, of Saint Agatha Roman Catholic Church, officiating.
