William R. Kinder, 83, of 1173 Market Street, Meadville, passed away at Meadville Medical Center on July 27, 2011. He was born in Meadville on October 4, 1927, son of Allen B. Kinder and Elmira Belle Crabbe . William married Shirley Ellen Rhodes on February 5, 1949, she survives. They celebrated their 62nd anniversary this year! He worked for Leech Tool & Die until his retirement. He was a US Army World War II Veteran. William enjoyed gardening, collecting coins, playing softball in his younger years, and loved spending time with his family. Along with his wife Shirley he is survived by a daughter Karen L. Kinder – Brown of Conneautville; two sons, Jack A. Kinder and his wife Brenda of Meadville, and Kirk E. Kinder of Watertown, Mass.; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter Kaitlyn Brown, a brother Allen Kinder, a sister Margaret “Peggy” Clark. Friends may call at Roofner-Collins-Warren Funeral Home and Cremations Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut St., Meadville, PA 16335, on Friday, July 29, 2011 from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. Funeral and committal service will be at the funeral home on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Temple Jarrell of New Beginnings Church of God officiating.
