Wanda Palmer Shoffstall

Wanda Palmer Shoffstall, 67, of Franklin, passed away on April 14th, at 1:30 a.m. at the Caring Place in Franklin.Born September 27th, 1948, Wanda was the daughter of Donald J. Palmer, Jr. and the late Jean Garrett Palmer. Wanda worked as a prison guard at the Cambridge Springs State Penitentiary. She was a Vietnam era Marine Corps veteran.She is survived by her father, Donald; her daughter, Amy Beth Zimmer, and her husband, Randy, of Stoneboro; her grandson, Mac Palmer; her great-grandson, Greyson Palmer; and her brothers, Scott L. Palmer and Michael G. PalmerWanda was preceded in death by her mother, Jean Garrett Palmer, and her brother, David Palmer.The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Venango County Humane Society, PO Box 1045, Oil City, PA 16301.Per Wanda's requests, no services will be held.
