Walter Shoffstall, 70, of Franklin, passed away on Wednesday, January 20th at 6:00 a.m. at his son's home in Franklin. Born December 28, 1945 in Franklin, Walter was the son of the late Walter P. and Frances Bean Franklin. Walter worked as a welder at Oil Well Steel in Oil City for a number of years and as a driver for Hand in Hand Christian Counseling.Walter had a love of cars, the music of Buddy Holly and Lynyrd Skynyrd, was an avid drawer, and loved animals.Walter is survived by his son, Shawn David Shoffstall; his son, Todd Allan Shoffstall, and his wife, Angela; and his grandchildren: Shiyann Marie Shoffstall, Kody Wilkens, Ashlee Irwin, Kayla Noel Andres, Shawn Orr, Dustin Shoffstall, and Caitlyn Shoffstall.In addition to his parents, Walter was preceded in death by his brothers: Paul and Ronnie Shoffstall; and his sisters: Lola Sanford and Geraldine Shoffstall.Per Walter's request, no funeral services will be held.
