Vivian L Schwimmer, 62, of Franklin, passed away on Sunday, August 31st, at Sugarcreek Station, following a brief illness.Born February 15, 1952 in Oil City, Vivian was the daughter of Richard J. Seippel and Patricia Louise Stevens-Shirey. She was married December 14, 1987 to James Schwimmer and he survives.Vivian graduated from Franklin High School. Vivian retired in 2007 after working at Polk Center as a Secretary for more than 34 years. She attended the First Church of the Nazarene in Franklin. She enjoyed playing cards and was a member of the Women's Card Club. She was also a member of the Cookie Club. Vivian volunteered her time at Sugar Creek Station Gift Shop, participated in Venango County's "Relay for Life", and Franklin's Applefest "5K Race". She was very involved in crafting. In addition to her husband, Jim, Vivian is survived by her children, Brian Kinsner of Franklin, Amy Minnear and her husband, Todd, of Butler, and Erin Hanna and her husband, Michael, of Brookville; and her grandchildren, Alyssa Kinsner of Franklin, Carson, Dylan and Makenna Minnear of Butler, and Kennedy Hanna of Brookville, She is also survived by her brothers, Kenneth Seippel of Franklin, Gregory Seippel of Strasburg, VA, Alfred Leroy Shirey and his wife, Eileen, of Cypress, CA, Robert Shirey and his wife, Rose, of Homestead, FL, and Michael Shirey and his wife, Kira, of Polk; and her sisters, Valjean Beers and her husband, Mark, of Franklin, and Mary Tain and her husband, Richard, of Polk.Vivian is additionally survived by her sister-in-law, Vicki Myers and her husband, Robert, of Franklin; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Glenn and Esther Baker, of Cooperstown.She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard J. Seippel and Patricia Louise Shirey; and her two nephews, William Campbell and Kenneth Wayne Campbell.Family and friends will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, on Thursday, September 4 from 3 to 7 p.m., and also at the First Church of the Nazarene in Franklin, on Friday, September 5th from 10 to 11 a.m. Funeral Services for Vivian will be held on Friday, September 5 at 11 a.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene in Franklin, with Rev. David Smith, pastor of the church, officiating.   3. We had many, many good times growing up on “Bleakley Hill”. We were Inseparable. I remember the many sleepovers, sleeping on the porch, and walking in the Grove late at night.
