She loved her animals and they were a great source of comfort and enjoyment to her.
My condolences to Allison Turner, her daughter-in-law, and to all her many friends.
Oh my yes- that contagious laugh! And the frequency of “that reminds me of a joke” was so her!
Had I been able to write the obituary she wanted it would have included this exact phrase “that reminds me of a joke”…it also would have remembered her special friends Linda, Joyce, Marsha, Beth, Tonia, Carol, Chrissy, Augusta, Steve & Kyle…you were all very important & loved by her…
Vicky was a friendly upbeat person and wonderful to work with. I didn’t worked with her a lot, but when I did I always enjoyed being around her. I worked with her daughter-in-law Allison which I knew more but they were too great people to work with. I feel so honored and blessed to have worked with both of these two fine ladies.
Our condolences to our daughter, Allison Turner and her children, Nathan, Zachary and Jenna who willingly took Vickie into their home while she recuperated from her surgery. She deeply loved them with all her heart. She was mild-mannered and a sweet lady to be around. She will be missed by many.
We are so grateful for Allison and her children for all the care and companionship they provided Vickie thru the years. My heart goes out to her and those great kids Nate, Zack and Jenna. Vick spoke about them often and after meeting them, it’s easy to see why she loved them so much. Such a hard adjustment for them all… they’re in my thoughts for healing thru memories.
Vickie was a kind, intelligent, and HILARIOUS friend. She always had a sly, yet humerus take on life.
She was candid and always said it like it was. Her kindness and empathy were always comforting.
I never heard her say a negative comment about anyone. I was lucky to know her and have her as my friend. And I was lucky to be a recipient of one of her precious 4-leaf clovers, which I carry with me to this day.
She was a gift to all who knew her. Love to Linda, and those dear friends who embrace her.
