Born in: Franklin, Pennsyvania
Resided in: Butler, Pennsylvania

Thomas W. Caldwell, 85, formerly of Victory Heights passed away on February 25, 2026 at Quality Life Services, Chicora with his family at his side.

Born on November 22, 1940 in Franklin, he was the son of the late John and Frances (Farren) Caldwell.

For many years, Tom worked on the oil leases for Heath Oil and John Bellis. He enjoyed his job since he was working outdoors which he enjoyed so much. He was very attentive to his garden and pruning the trees and bushes. You would find him admiring all aspects of any parade that he could attend. He enjoyed the company and conversation with people and he often would discover new friends at Applefest and Music in the Park concerts.

Church and the Bible were very important to Tom and he was very active at Victory Heights United Brethren Church and was recognized for his faithful attendance for 50+ years. After moving to the Butler area, he started attending Graceway Community Church.

When his vision was pristine, he enjoyed stitchery such as needlework and cross stitch. Tom entered some of his beautiful pieces in the Stoneboro and Butler fairs where he would get first place.

Left to cherish his memories is his daughter, Mary Wilson of Seneca; his grandchildren, Mercedes and Bentley; his sister Bonnie Ross of Butler; and his many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his close friend, Christine Hinzman, who Tom enjoyed helping care for her animals.

Guests are invited to Victory Heights United Brethren Church, 5978 US 322, Franklin, PA on Monday, March 2nd from 11 am to 1 pm. Funeral services for Tom will be held at the church immediately following with Pastor Mike Heim officiating.
