Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Though I never met Tom in person he always had a smile and kind word during Brenda & I video chat. My heart and prayers go out to Brenda and her sons

  2. Uncle Tom was like a second father to me growing up. I would always tease him about food getting in his beard and he would laugh. A big memory was him always taking us kids for a ride on his lawn mower. That was so fun to me! I’ve never had a bad time or memory with him. He’s always been there when needed without hesitation. I will miss him and his wise, friendly advice! He is one of the best men I’ve ever known! I love you Uncle Tom!
    Love,
    Becca

  3. We are so very sorry to hear of your loss Brenda. Tom was a great guy and friend. He will be missed.

  4. I am so sorry, I know what a big part of your life Tom was. I can’t believe he is in heaven now. He was one of the sweetest men I ever know. Just how many men would take in your brother, pregnant wife, and kids, support them and care for them, but that’s the kind of man he was. He loved everyone, I know that Rick, Rebecca, and Ginger where always so close to him. Brenda I can’t imagine the pain of loosing a husband of 41 years, but he is with the angels now.

  5. Godspeed Tom. Brenda I pray that you will find peace and know that you have many friends to turn to in the days ahead.
    Love Nancy

  6. Smitty was always a kind and thoughtful person. He always did his job. I enjoyed talking with him. May GOD be with him and his family. Glenn Cunningham North Port Fla.

  7. We did not know Tom very well, but he was a good buddy to his grand dog, Otto. Brenda and Tom watched Otto for us while we were on our vacation in September and Otto loved sitting with Tom in his chair, and when they returned Otto to us, Tom would just smile when we kidded him about this. I know he was a hard worker and loved his family. Brenda, we are so sorry for your loss and our love and prayers and with you and your family. Jim and Debbie Rathbun

  8. Tom, you have been a part of our family for so many years I can not imagine you not being here! You have always been a man of honor and integrity, honest, devoted to your family. Always willing to help anyone without being asked even. I don’t think any one ever met you that did not like you. Your best and greatest legacy was you raised your sons to be the same way and I know you were proud of them. You will be missed by so many! You had a great love of your country, your military and your family. We love you!! All my sympathy to Brenda and the boys. I am only a phone call away. I love you all!!

  9. I’m so sorry for the loss of your dear loved one. When life is cut off to short the emotional loss can be overwhelming. Please take to heart these comforting words at Isaiah 41:10…”Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will fortify you, yes, I will help you,I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness.” Our Heavenly Father is soon going to do away with death, sorrow, and pain forever (Revelation 21:4).
