Tammie S. Groene, age 59, passed away on January 3, 2024, in Meadville. She was born on July 5, 1964, in Meadville, PA. Tammie was the daughter of Victor “Jack” Gunn and Joan “Toni” Pappa (Brooker), both of whom preceded her in death. Tammie is survived by her children: Victoria “Tori” Groene-Zeigler, Alexandra “Lexie” Groene, and Katherine “Kat” Wine, as well as by their father, David Groene. Tammie is also survived by her grandchildren: Annabelle Jones, Saylor Wine, and step-grandchild, Jack Zeigler. In addition, she is survived by her sisters, Karen Maynard and Diana Rudd, nieces & nephew, and she also leaves behind her beloved dog, Tidus. A private gathering will be held to honor Tammie’s life. The Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. Tammie will be remembered for her vibrant personality, contagious humor, penchant for singing little tunes (she even sang when speaking), her fondness for ‘misfit toys,’ resilience in the face of mental health challenges, and an enduring love and pride for her children and grandchildren.

  2. Tammie I had been thinking about you often and now I know why. You will always hold a special place in my heart. Even though we didn’t talk or see each other often I know we both kept each other close in our thoughts. I am deeply saddened and will miss your voice and your laugh.
