Sylvia Pearl Kelly, 95, of Centerville, passed away, Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at home. She was born on March 18, 1924 in Bloomfield Township, daughter of the late Elbert P. and Norma Humes Obert. She was married to Dennis Kelly who preceded her in passing in 1985. Sylvia was an active member of Taylor Stand Bible Church where she played the piano for many years, has taught Sunday School and was active in all church activities. She was an election official for 70 years and a member of the Townville Senior Citizens. She enjoyed playing games, building puzzles and playing cards. Sylvia also enjoyed gardening, taking friends to town and quilting. Survivors include her daughter Kitty D. Wentz and her husband Thomas of Guys Mills; three sons, Dennis E. Kelly and his wife Sally of Clifton, VA; Michael H. Kelly and his wife Gloria of Lincolnville, PA and Clifford N. Kelly and his wife Nancy of Vero Beach, FL; 22 grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; her sister Nola McCrillis of Vero Beach, FL and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Sylvia was preceded in death by daughter Patricia Bucksbee; granddaughter Kelly Ann Gibson; grandson, Matthew Manden Wentz; her sisters, Vivian and Lisbeth and brothers Hubert and Noel. Friends and family are invited to call the Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 33353 N. Main Street, Townville, PA 16360, today from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. and Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Taylor Stand Bible Church, 20534 Taylor Stand Road, Centerville, PA 16404 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Raymond Fate officiating. Burial will be at Rootville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Taylor Stand Bible Church, 20534 Taylor Stand Road, Centerville, PA 16404.
