Stephen M. Fisher, known to some as “Chip”, 64, of Saegertown, passed away on Monday, June 14, 2021, at Meadville Medical Center. He was born on September 11, 1956, in Erie, a son of Williams J. and Ann Lepich Fisher. He married Constance “Connie” Oaks on September 24, 2011 – she survives. He graduated from Academy High School in 1974 and recently retired from 30+ years of self-employment. When he wasn’t reading, Steve enjoyed kayaking, powerlifting, gardening, fishing, and spending time with his dogs. Those that knew him saw a man with a love for life and an unbreakable optimism. He will be greatly missed. In addition to his wife, Connie, he is survived by three sons, Caleb Fisher of Saegertown, Michael Allgeier of Edinboro, and Jonathan Allgeier and his wife, Amy, of Waynesboro, PA. He also leaves behind two step-sons, Jeffrey Phillips and his wife, Tera, of Franklin, and Robert A. Phillips and his wife, Laura, of Zelienople; 8 grandchildren, Adriana Allgeier, Oliver Allgeier, Stella Allgeier, Astrid Allgeier, Elliott Bowen, Quentin Allgeier, Ariana Phillips, and Braden Phillips; two sisters, Mary Kay Kyle of Pueblo, CO and Patty Curtis and her husband, David, of Erie; a brother, Jimmy Fisher and his wife, Joanne, of Cleveland, OH; and many nieces and nephews. Stephen is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bill Fisher. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 19th at 4:00pm at Kloecker Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2502 Sassafras Street, Erie, with Pastor Matt Judd of Glenwood United Methodist Church officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in Stephen’s memory to the Anna Shelter, 1555 E. 10th Street, Erie, PA 16511. Arrangements are in the care of Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA.   2. Steve was one of the best friends I ever had. I’ll miss his sense of humor the most. I’m so happy that he met Connie. He was one of the finest men I ever met and I strive to be like him… being grateful , remembering his motto, life is good. See you again brother.
