Stanley "Jimmy" Zelasco, 91, of Meadville, passed away after a brief illness on Friday, October 19, 2012 at Wesbury United Methodist Retirement Community with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of the late Theresa Dzik Zelasco and the loving father of Ann Marie Eland of Meadville and Jim Zelasco and his wife Debbie of Pittsburgh.
He was born on September 14, 1921 in Meadville, a son of John and Anna Rothkevic Zelasco.
Jimmy was a World War II veteran, Prisoner of War and a Purple Heart recipient. He was an avid bowler and a member of the Western Crawford County Bowling Hall of Fame.
After retiring from Channelock, he spent is leisure time cheering on Notre Dame, Cleveland Browns, and Cleveland Indians, and enjoyed spending time with his family and visiting his friends in town.
In addition to his loving wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and six brothers.
The funeral service will be private at the convenience of the family.
Burial will take place in Saint Brigid Cemetery, West Mead Township.

Thanks for keeping us updated on his condition ( at the Bistro) The day we missed because of the Junior- Senior hunt, made all the difference. When you told us the change in his condition,we were truly sad and kept your Dad, you and your family in our Prayers.
