Shirley A Grove, 80, of Franklin, passed away peacefully at 3:45 a.m. at her residence on Saturday, April 25th. Born July 2, 1934 in Franklin, Shirley was the daughter of the late Albertis and Mary Williams Crawford. She married Harold E. Grove on May 12, 1951, and he preceded her in death in 2004.She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, baking and gardening. Shirley was a member of Franklin Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.Shirley is survived by her 8 children, Charles D. Grove and his wife, Penny, of Franklin, Carolyn S. Grove of Franklin, Cindy Williams and her husband, Roger, of Franklin, Bonnie K. Garcia of Franklin, Vera Keener and her husband, Kevin, of Titusville, Vivian L. Grove of Cherrytree, Michael E. Grove and his wife, Vera, of Cooperstown, and Elly M. Sollinger and her husband, Robert of Oil City. She is also survived by her 31 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.Shirley is additionally survived by her 4 brothers, David Crawford of Arkansas, Phillip Crawford of Franklin, Nathan "Nate" Crawford of Franklin, and Clarance Crawford of Guys Mills; her sister, Wanda L. Hefferman of Franklin; her step-brothers, Danny Crawford and James Crawford; and her step-sisters, Alberta Poole, Becky Austin, and Karen Muse.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gilbert Crawford; and her sister, Phyllis I. Boyles.Family and friends of Shirley will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin on Tuesday, April 28th from 3 to 7 p.m. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at the Franklin Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Saturday, May 9th at 11 a.m., with Richard E.
