Sheryl (Graff) Brock, age 80, of Franklin, passed away peacefully at Oakwood Heights Village on October 28, 2025. Born on February 3, 1945, she was the beloved daughter of William Graff and Jeanne (Reynolds) Graff. Sheryl was a proud graduate of Rocky Grove High School and served as a Worthy Advisor for the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls in her teen years. She spent her life dedicated to service and advocacy for others in both her personal and professional life. Sheryl’s service to others set a great example for her daughters that they both carry on today.

Sheryl began her professional journey analyzing fingerprints in Washington, D.C., demonstrating her commitment to justice and public service from an early age. She later returned to Pennsylvania, where she eventually retired from the Venango County Courthouse after serving as the Juvenile Victim Witness Coordinator in the District Attorney’s office. Sheryl’s passion for child advocacy did not end with her retirement. She continued to make a difference as a volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), earning the Volunteer of the Year award in 2016 for her dedication and compassion.

Sheryl was a devoted mother and is survived by her two daughters, Shannan Coleman and her husband Clay, of Florida, and Nikki Rafn and her husband Peter, of South Carolina. She also leaves behind her brother William Graff of Pennsylvania, her sisters Diane Fonzo and husband Jim, of Kansas, and Suzzanne Rankin, of Kansas. Sheryl was a cherished grandmother to Jack Rafn, Grace Coleman, and Elena Coleman, and will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Patti Waltz, her brother-in-law Larry Rankin, her nephew Timothy Rankin, and her aunt Betty Pardoe.
