Sandra Ann (Molli) Bowler went home to be with her Lord on September 12, 2025, at Embassy of Park Avenue in Meadville. She was born on March 10, 1942, the beloved daughter of the late Santi and Victoria (Leri) Molli of Townville, PA.
Sandra is survived by her brother, Garold (Connie) Molli, and her three daughters: Vicki (Sorice), Julie (Gilbert), and Sandi (Shivley).
A graduate of Townville High School and Edinboro University, Sandra devoted her life to education, teaching second grade for 33 years. She touched the lives of countless students with her love for learning. After retiring from the PENNCREST School District, Sandra continued sharing her gifts as a substitute teacher in Florida, where she lived for 18 years.
In her earlier years, Sandra loved playing her accordion, entertaining others, and being a gracious hostess. She will be fondly remembered for her joyful laugh, her love of pasta, and deep love of all things Italian.
Sandra was a cherished sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Along with her daughters, she leaves behind her nieces, Allison (Jeffery) Mattis, Shannon (Christopher) Ploski, and Kristin (Justin) Held; and her nephew, Dr. Ryan (Karen) Molli. She will also be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren- David Shannon, Steven Shannon, Brittany Gates,Taylor Gilbert, Ashley Gilbert, and Liam Shivley-along with her six great-grandchildren and several great-nieces and nephews. Sandra also leaves behind her special cousin, Rosalind Staskiewicz, and dear friend, Valerie Hassett.
Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, September 17, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Hippolyte Church, 26012 North Frenchtown Road, Guys Mills, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jeffrey Lucas as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Brigid Cemetery, 11354 Williamson Road, Meadville, PA.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to Juniper Village, Embassy of Park Avenue, and Hospice of Crawford County for their exceptional love and care. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Sandra’s memory to AseraCare Hospice Care, an Amedisys Company, 12264 US-19 Unit 1A, Waterford, PA 16441.

  1. Sandra was in my class at school, and she was a very good student. The unique thing about Sandra was that she and her cousin Rosalind didn’t live in the same house, but the two of them came to school dressed alike .God bless Sandra.
