Robert “Rob” Greenlee, 58, of Franklin passed away unexpectedly on June 18, 2025 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Born on March 14, 1967 in Oil City, he was the son of the late Leroy “Moe” and Doris (Boughner) Greenlee.
On May 22, 2000, he married the love of his life, the former Michelle “Missie” Boughner and she survives.
Rob loved farming and tending to his beef cattle. He was ecstatic about his new farm tractor and felt everyone else should be just as excited.
He had a passion for classic cars and also enjoyed hunting and fishing when he could.
Rob was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #328 and enjoyed hanging out with his friends.
Left to cherish his memory along with his wife, Missie, are his siblings Michael Greenlee and his wife, Lucy, of Cochranton and Chris Senger and her husband, Richard, of Texas; his nieces and nephews Keith Lepley of Meadville, Erika Greenlee and her companion, Nate, of Franklin, Courtney Hines and her husband, Devin, of Franklin, Jesse Senger of Texas, Joel Senger of Texas, Casey Maloney and her husband, Randy of Cochranton, and Colton Greenlee and his wife, Abby, of Polk; and his many great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Leroy Greenlee, Jr.
At Missie’s request, guests are requested to wear your best Wranglers, T-shirt, and boots (no need to dress up, Rob wouldn’t) and are invited to the Gardinier-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin on Monday, June 23rd, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. So sorry to hear this news. As I was preparing to retire from PennDot Rob was one of the fondest co workers I had. A loss will remain with me for a long while. The humor and smiles that Rob displayed will forever be remembered. Our prayers are with his entire family..

REST IN PEACE, HOT ROD
I met “Greenlee” a few months after Jim started. We have picked at each other ever since. I couldn’t wait to hear the next “Greenlee” story and there were alot. Thank you for taking care of Jim all these years. — I will forever miss you picking at me and reminding me that I’m not being very Christian like.
REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND
Missy, Jim and I will always keep you close to our hearts,
My sympathies go out to Rob,s family. I worked with Rob at Penndot for many years. He was always friendly and very helpful. He took good care of his machines and saved us mechanics a lot of work. He will be greatly missed by all. Rest in peace.
RIP Rob you’ll be missed
Oh Rob, the world is a little less bright without you here. I’m forever greatful to have had met you and watch out for my dad and I at the Dot. Sending lots of hugs and prayers to Missy and your family.
I know you’re up in heaven
But damn it hurts like hell
‘Cause I’d just be pretending
If I said anything else
And I know God don’t make mistakes
But this sure feels like one
