Robert E. Lee, 64, of Franklin, passed away at his residence on April 20, 2018. Born on April 13th, 1954, in Grove City, PA, he was the son of the late Paul " Sonny" B. and Betty (Jones) Lee.On July 6, 1974, he married Laura L. DeLong who still survives.Mr. Lee proudly served in the U. S. Air Force during the Vietnam era as an Aircraft Maintenance Specialist.Robert retired from working in the housekeeping department at UPMC Northwest.He was a member of the Sugarcreek United Methodist Church. Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, remote controlled cars and spending time with his grandchildren.In addition to his wife of 43 years, he is survived by his daughters, Amanda Pierce and her husband, Jeff, of Oil City and Stacy Lemke and her husband, Chris, of St. Francis, MN; his grandchildren, Lauren McDonough of Oil City, Trevor Sharrar of Fertigs, PA, Josh Sharrar of Chambersburg, PA, Sam Lemke of St. Francis, MN, Joey Sharrar of Titusville, PA and Andee Lemke of St. Francis, MN. He is further survived by his brother, Paul " Bill" W. Lee and his wife, Ellen, of Seneca and several nieces and nephews.Visitation will be held at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral services for Robert will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 11:00 am with Reverend Karen Kostur, pastor of Sugarcreek United Methodist Church, officiating. Military Honors being accorded by the V.E.T.S.
