  1. It is with great sadness that I read Dick’s Obituary. It is ironic that I was thinking about Utica and Dick and the rest of you Sunday. I then got on the internet and saw he passed. We were all poor but we had fun. I was sorry to see John has also passed. Thinking of all of you during this time. Dick Dale

  2. I had been trying for a long time to call or reach out to Richard and was truly saddened to learn of his passing. I was able to locate him the facility he was placed but was not allowed to speak with him per their policies. Richard was very outgoing, loved to play golf and was a true friend to myself and well, my entire family. I met Richard in the Army in Germany, we had many adventures there also. After our Army tour he settled in South Carolina near my home. We worked side by side not only in employment locally but on projects be it his or mine. A better friend one could not find, I truly will miss Richard. Saddened that life events separated us over the years when he retired and my job moved me to another state. Condolences to the family and friends of Richard.
