Raymond Terry Galbraith, 63, passed away, Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Meadville Medical Center. He was born October 8, 1946 to the late Leigh Robert Galbraith and Ella Mae Thibault Galbraith.
He was a self employed plumber for over 30 years. He recently moved back to Pennsylvania after living in Indianapolis, Indiana for over 30 years. He also spent some time in Florida. He previously owned and operated Rambo Rooter.
He is survived by 3 daughters Connie M. Galbraith of Indianapolis, IN, Rose E. Galbraith of Indianapolis, IN and Amanda R. Morris of Dallas, TX, 3 brothers Max Galbraith and his wife Barb of Jamestown, PA, Charles Galbraith and his wife Violet of Meadville, PA, Gene Galbraith and his wife DeAnna of Seattle, WA, 3 sisters Roberta Hagerty of Florida, Ellen Thompson of South Carolina, and Juanita Thompson and her husband Richard of Meadville, PA, 5 grandchildren Joshua, Erica, Blaize, Morgan, and Phillip, 2 great grandchildren and 22 nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by a son, Brian E. Galbraith, 2 brothers Bobby Galbraith and Duane Galbraith, and a sister Maxine Leonhart, 2 nephews Walter Williams, and Rodney Galbraith, a cousin Paul McCarl and 2 brother-in-laws Bob Thompson and Wally Hagerty.
Friends may call at Roofner-Collins Funeral Home 544 Chestnut St., Meadville, PA 16335, on Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM with a Funeral Service to follow at 8:00 PM with Pastor Dave Brumagin officiating. Burial will be private. Memorials can be made to Rose E. Galbraith for care of Raymond’s grandchildren at 21229 Wardell Ave., Port Charlotte, FL 33952. Uncle Ray There just wasn’t enough time for me to tell you all the things that I wanted to. I will MISS YOU so very much. I will miss all the text messages you and I sent back and forth. Life was not very good to you. You had to endure SO VERY MUCH. I”M sorry for that. Thank you for making sure Bryant and I went through our surgeries ok for being here for us. I NEVER JUDGED YOU for things that SO many family members have done. I’m so sorry for that. You were a wonderful man, father and friend to many. WE WILL MISS YOU one day we will meet again. I know You are with your son now and he is now your protector. I LOVE YOU DeeDee, Ted, Justin and Bryant
Raymond was my boyhood friend that I lost contact with, just two weeks ago I stood where his family house once was on Water Street wondering where life had taken him, sadly now
