Ray was one of my best friends in high school, and a major disappointment- a tremendously talented artist who never did anything with it. He was also one of the most alienated people I’ve ever known, and I think probably one big reason why he never did anything with his abilities was because he felt like he didn’t fit in anywhere. I hope he’s
at peace now.
So sorry to hear of Ray’s passing….I considered him a good friend in high school, even though he was reserved and quiet….I admired his artist talent
and how he was able to transform his body through lifting weights
My deepest sympathy to you and your family, Cindy. The Class of 1971 is saddened to hear of the loss of another classmate. I remember Ray as a quiet but kind person with an artistic gift. May you be comforted in knowing others care and are praying for you.
