Raymond Irvin Faller

Raymond I. Faller, 94, of Franklin passed away on Thursday, August 17th, 2017 at The Caring Place.Born on July 30th, 1923 in Oil City, he was the son of Norbert and Anna "Fanny" Fasenmyer Faller.Raymond retried from the oil City Glass Plant after many years.He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. He was also a past member of the Rock Grove Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed playing cards, craft making and winter in Florida. Ray's sense of humor kept the staff and residents at The Caring Place entertained. Also, his strong will kept them on their toes.He was married December 2, 1972 to Deloris A. Eckel. She preceded him in death May 1994.He was survived by his step-daughters Ruth Ruditis (Mike) of Franklin, Frances Sofly (Wilson) of Andersonville, SC, Mary Eckel of Douglassville, PA; his step-son Richard Eckel (Diane) of Franklin and Also surviving is numerous step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren. Also surviving is  a sister-in-law, Gayle Faller and many nieces and nephews.  Also surviving is dear and close friends, Marylee, Cindy, Bob, Bud and Dwight and many others.Along with his parents and wife, Raymond was preceded in death by brothers, Art, Ralph, Eugene Faller and infant Richard.A funeral mass will be held on Friday, September 8th, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Msr.
