Raymond C. Jones, 91, of Townville, passed away April 10 2015 at Snyder Memorial Nursing Home. Raymond was born on May 7, 1923, son of the late, George and Hazel Kerr Jones. He married Maxine Vandervort, on January 18, 1943, she preceded him in death in 2005. He served his country during WWII, in both the Army Air Force and the Air Force. Raymond was a carpenter, and loved building and remodeling homes with his beloved wife, Maxine. He was a member of Lyona Bible Church. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and loved to go to Canada with his extended family on fishing trips. Raymond enjoyed his grandchildren immensely. Survivors include, his daughter-in-law, Amy Jones of Titusville; his brother James Jones of Dora, Missouri; three grandchildren, Brian C. Jones, Jr. (Tammy); Shari L. Carpenter (Mark); and Jeffrey A. Jones (Sallianne); also 11 great grand children and 2 great great grand children and one due in a couple of months. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Maxine Jones; two sons, Brian C. Jones, Sr; and Bruce Allen Jones; two sisters, Georgia Manson, Gertrude King and his brother Theodore Jones. A memorial service will be held on April 25, 2015 at 1:00 P.M., at Townville Baptist Church with Pastor Jerry Walton officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Roofner-Collins-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA 16335. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to Miracle Mountain Ranch, 101 Rodeo Drive, Spring Creek, PA 16436.   1. We will always remember the years you were with us. You came into my life when my own father passed away, and I considered you as my second chance at having a another one. You gave us wonderful memories and so glad we got to know and help in any way we could. We will miss you tremendously, but know that you are in a better place now. Thank You !
