Ralph E. Doyle, 72, of Polk, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 3, 2019 at UPMC Northwest in Seneca.He was born to parents Thomas and Nolene (Engles) Doyle on March 15, 1947 in Franklin, PA.Ralph graduated from Lakeview High School in Sandy Lake and then went on to become an Electrician for Joy Manufacturing, were he worked for 41 1/2 years.He married Sharon J. Chelton on June 29, 1991; she survives him.Ralph loved to "tinker" on old cars and ride Harley Davidson motorcycles. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time at Myrtle Beach in South Carolina and the Outer Banks beaches in North Carolina. He also very much loved his Yorkie, Benji. In addition to his wife, Ralph is survived by his two daughters, Lisa L. Kelly and her wife, Kathy of Decatur, GA, and Melissa O'Donnell and her husband, Dan, of Cochranton; his two grandchildren, Alexis and Dylan O'Donnell; and his one brother James Doyle and his wife, Peggy, of Utica.Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; his three brothers, Ron, Thomas, and Gary Doyle; and his one sister, Linda Mecklin.In accordance to his wishes, there will be no public visitation.A Celebration of Ralph's Life will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at 6:00 pm at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Ralph's memory to the Oakwood Heights Retirement Community, Dementia Unit, 10 Votech Drive, Oil City, PA  16301, to honor his loving wife, Sharon, who resides there.To send cards, flowers, online condolences, or for general information, family and friends are invited to visit www.gardinierfuneralhome.com.
