Phillip A. Conklin, Sr., 64, of Union City, PA, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2025. Born on June 23, 1961, in Corry, PA, he was the son of Glenn Eugene Conklin, Sr. (deceased) and Blanche Mae Morton Conklin.
Phillip proudly served in the U.S. Army and carved out a successful career in sales within the heavy equipment industry. Known for his love of the outdoors, he was an avid hunter, a lifetime member of the NRA, and an enthusiastic fisherman. His knack for mechanics made him the go-to guy for backyard projects, with his beloved wife, Alberta Sue (Williams) Conklin, at the center of his world. They married on March 14, 1981, and their bond was a true testament to love and partnership. He enjoyed seeing people smile.
Phillip is survived by his devoted wife, Alberta; daughter Angela (Jerrod Piatkowski) S. Feeney of Edinboro; sons Jesse (Samantha Miller) E. Wilcox of Union City and Phillip (Jillian) A. Conklin, Jr. of Corry. He also leaves behind grandchildren Tyler, Jacob, Phillip, III, Natalea, Eleanor, Charlotte, Lincoln, and great-grandchild Phillip, IV. Phillip is further survived by three sisters: Sue (John) Lowther, Lois Hayes, and Brenda (Bob) Glover, all of Union City.
A visitation to celebrate Phillip’s life will be held on Monday, August 25th, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Warren-Glenn Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., located at 62 S. Main Street, Union City. His family will lay him to rest at Evergreen Cemetery at a later date.
Honoring Phillip’s generous wish, the gift of life was shared with many people in need through organ and tissue donation.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Phillip’s memory. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
