Philip Lee Saxton

Philip Lee Saxton, 60, of Franklin, passed away, Monday, May 6, 2024 unexpectedly at UPMC Northwest in Seneca. He was born on May 7, 1963 in Meadville, a son of Philip Proper and Weldon and Lois Saxton.
He was a 1981 graduate of Maplewood High School and was employed at Honeywell in Franklin.
Philip was an avid Steelers fan and enjoyed attending their games.
He is survived by his daughter, Angela Saxton of Titusville; two grandchildren, Derik Lee Garza and Brooke Garza of Titusville; two brothers, Denny Saxton and Paul Proper and his wife Kelly; a sister, Michelle Bird; close friend, Wilma Cline; nieces, Brenda Rockwell and Kristen Adkins; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Billy Proper; and a sister, Lori Proper.
Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Friday, May 10th from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 33353 N. Main Street, Townville.
Burial will take place in Chapmanville Cemetery, Titusville.

I remember playing baseball just about every night during the summer months when we where kids. We played our games out behind our houses in Pasture Field we called it. Also, Phillip would hit rocks for hours into the field and woods. Lot’s of good memories.
