Paul Wade Bickel

Paul W. Bickel, 92, of Seneca passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Sugar Creek Station. He was born on January 10, 1930, the son of the late Walter and Zella (Butler) Bickel. Paul attended the Venus Pilgrim Holiness Church for many years. He was very hardworking, there was no job too big for him. He was an avid deer hunter. His favorite way to spend his time was making memories with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Left to cherish his wonderful memory are his sons, Randy Bickel and his wife, Paula of Guys Mills and Bruce Bickel of Mercer; his daughter, Joyce Dashner and her husband, Frank of Guys Mills; his twenty-one grandchildren; his numerous great-grandchildren; his sisters, Carol, Ruth, Bonnie, Alerta, Helen, Virginia, Joy, and Lois; and his brother, Bill; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Paul is preceded in death by his wives, Janice Hiles and Thelma Cratty; his son, John Bickel; his daughter, Paula; and his siblings, Mary, Wendy, Zella May, Ray Jean, George, and David. Friends and family will be received on Monday, June 6, 2022 at Gardinier-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin from 10 am to 12 pm. Funeral services for Paul will be held immediately following the visitation at the funeral home beginning at 12 pm with Rev. Joshua Peck, of the Venus Pilgrim Holiness Church, officiating.
