Paul W Hillier

Paul W. Hillier, Jr., 88, formerly of Cooperstown, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018, in Dallas, Texas.  Paul was born on April 22, 1930, the eldest son of Paul W. Hillier, Sr. and Dorothea Eberle Hillier.  He grew up in Cleveland, OH, and later Cooperstown, PA, where his Father owned the Cooperstown Hardware.Paul served in the U.S. Air Force at Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico from 1949-1950.  Following his military service, Paul enrolled in the College of Business Administration at the University of Pittsburgh, graduating in 1953.  Upon graduating from Pitt, Paul accepted a position with the accounting firm Price Waterhouse in their Dallas, Texas office.  Paul practiced as a Certified Public Accountant with Price Waterhouse in Dallas for 37 years, retiring as a partner in 1990.Paul was married on June 23, 1956, to the former Marjorie A. Foster, who preceded him in death in 1999.  He later married Anne Washburne Barcus of Dallas, who also preceded him in death.Paul is survived by his three sons: Jeffrey S. Hillier and his wife, Kathryne, of Dallas, Texas; Gary R. Hillier and his wife, Kim, of Trophy Club, Texas; and Gregg W. Hillier of Portland, Oregon.  He is also survived by his two grandsons: Travis W. Hillier of Chicago, Illinois; and Cameron J. Hillier of Asheville, North Carolina.In addition to his parents and wives, Paul was preceded in death by his brother, Robert A. Hillier, and his sister-in-law Sue S.
