Nancy Amelia Artman

TOWNVILLE - Nancy Amelia Jacob Artman, 75, of Townville, passed away, Thursday, May 25, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 17, 1941 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania a daughter of Ernst Jacob and Wilhelmina Strauss Jacob. She married Robert “Bob” Artman on September 3, 1966, he survives.
Nancy was employed with Bell Telephone and Alltel for over 40 years as a supervisor.
She was a member of Saint Brigid Roman Catholic Church.
Nancy worked with leader dogs for the blind in Rochester, Michigan, she loved her farm, all her animals, especially her German Shepards, her family, and all of her friends. She was also very active in 4-H and sat on the board of directors for the Western Pennsylvania Quarter Horse Association for many years.
In addition to her loving husband, Bob of Townville; she is survived by a daughter, Heather Tatalovic and her husband Rich of Guys Mills; a son in law, Jodie Fait of Guys Mills; and two sisters, Gerda Bummer of Pittsburgh and Linda Guenther and her husband John of Meadville.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Fait.
Family and friends are welcome to call on Tuesday, May 30th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 31st at 10:00am with Jonathan Curtiss from AseraCare Hospice and Father Tom Trocchio, of St. Brigid Catholic Church, officiating.
Burial will take place in Blooming Valley Cemetery.

You gave me so many memories and laughs that whenever I think of you I will always have a smile on my face. You made my job not work but so much fun!! You always said we should have written a book!!! You are now one of my Angels and I hope you will be reunited with your mom and dad and all your loved ones. You have to be so proud of your daughter because she is growing up to be just like you!! My first supervisor with the telephone company who advanced me in the industry but most importantly who became a dear, dear supportive friend. I enjoyed our calls over the years sharing our family stories, gardening, recipes for canning, soups for our mothers and reminiscing.
