Born in: Meadville, Pennsylvania

Myrna Darleen Reagle Parker, age 81, of Maplewood Road, Guys Mills, passed away peacefully at the Marquette Hopsice House on March 2, 2019. Myrna was born April 23, 1937, the eldest daughter of Emmett and Irene Luper Reagle of Saegertown. She was a graduate of Saegertown High School, and in 1955 she married Charles W. Parker, who survives. In her earlier years, Myrna was a hard worker who was employed by Talon, Brucker’s Store and Bill Mohl’s Pottery. Throughout her life she enjoyed canning, sewing, “walking a country block,” and horse-drawn wagon rides with Charlie. Myrna and her family were the only wagon from Crawford County that participated in the 1976 Bicentennial Wagon Train to Valley Forge. In quieter times she was a voracious reader, and loved being involved with her family. Myrna was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Gary Reagle and Gaylord Reagle, her sister Cindy Trace and brother-in-law Arnie Trace, her daughter-in-law Judy Parker, and her sisters-in-law Doris Reagle and Rose Reagle. She is survived by two daughters, Deborah Pipp (Kevin) of Meadville and Brenda Harman (Woody) of West Virginia, and two sons Phil Parker and Steve Parker, both of Guys Mills. In addition she leaves behind four brothers, Keith Reagle (Mary), Neal Reagle, Edward Reagle (Linda) and James Reagle, and her sister-in-law Mary Anne Reagle. Myrna has six grandchildren, Heather Parker Irons (Clint), Shannan Harman Tucker (Kirk), Ashley Parker Chapin (Chad), Carl Parker, Sylvia Parker Shidemantle (Cody) and Marshall Parker, as well as nine great-grandchildren. She will be missed. Interment will be at Radle Cemetery in Guys Mills. A celebration of Myrna’s life will be held at a later date, at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to the Marquette Hospice House through Hospice of Crawford County, Inc. at 766 Liberty St., Meadville, PA 16335 or the Townville Ambulance Service at 33441 N. 4. Sad to hear of Myrna’s passing. Heather (Myrna’s Granddaughter) was my childhood best friend. We always stayed at Myrna’s house. All the Parkers treated always me like one of their own, but especially Myrna. She even would buy nestle quick specifically for me, since I preferred to mix it with the farm milk! My sympathy goes out to all the Parkers. Hugs, Carissa Locke-Williams
