  3. My fond memory of Michelle was one Christmas the Franklin VFW Auxiluuary 1835 delivered Christmas bags to Veterans in local nursing homes. Michelle dressed her two dogs- Bambie and Pebblez in their Christmas costumes and greeted the veterans. All residents wanted to see the cute puppies. Michelle would pick them up so the residents could pet and talk to each pup. Michelle and her fuzzy friends put a lot of smiles on the residents faces that day. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

  4. I am so sorry for your loss. Loved Michelle. We used to have the most amusing talks when we worked together at the Venango County Prison. She was a wonderful person. We talked about the fact that when she was born in Bitburgh I was living there with my parents.

  5. Oh Jim and Bernice we are so sorry for your loss of Michelle. She was such a bright light as a child, infectious laughter, and uncontained energy….. it seems this continued through her life. We are so sorry her life was short here. But God must need her brightness, HE has something wonderful planned. She has many gathered waiting for her arrival, they will guide her and she in turn will look down on you. Look up at the night sky her star will smile and twinkle, she is released of illness, she is Free! Peace and God Bless, Jim and Nancy Bastine, Ford City, PA

  6. Lil Wray, that’s what us girls on B block in Mercer county Jail called her… she was wonderful, very compassionate!! I remember I was in the hole & she allowed me a cup of coffee, even tho I wasn’t allowed, but I think she knew I was goin thru it with the caffeine headache… Lol! I didn’t kno she was goin thru this battle, it’s been a year since I seen her! Rest In Paradise “Lil” Wray!!

  7. She was always full of such love an laughter… she never judged anyone based on mistakes that we made… she always knew what to say to make me feel better when I was locked up an my father was losing his battle with cancer… I love you miss wrey you be missed deeply… xoxoxoxo

  8. Shyann poling Where do i begin. You used to stand around and have long talks about keeping my faith and holsing on a little longer. Telling me things will get better soon. You helped me stay in contact with a great friend of mine. You were an amazing CO and most of all you treated us like humans we love and miss you Lil Wray fly high

  9. Troy&Elke Wiand Michelle was a very special and wonderful person. She was a best friend and confidant. No matter what life through at her she always faced it with a positive energy unique to her. She is and always will be greatly missed. The world has lost a wonderful person but heaven gained an angel.

  10. Elbows deep in pots and pans at the mercer county jail. Stuck in my head about where i was at in life. Where i went wrong. She would come in for a pitcher of water every day. Just a simple hello and smile. She genuinely cared for every human being she encountered. Condolences to family and friends. She will live on in all the people whom she impacted so much.

  11. I want Jim, Bernice and James to know that I will never forget how much fun it was growing up around your home with Michelle. Michelle introduced me to Prince and MTV. She was always very kind to me. I am deeply saddened to hear that she fell ill. She remains a special piece of my youth. I wish I could be there to celebrate her life and make you smile about the “good ole days”. I am thinking of you all. Love Thom Barnes

  12. I was an inmate at Mercer county jail and I can’t begin to tell you the love and respect I had for little Wray, she had so much compaction and care, she made a difference in my life. She was all about helping people. I have a really bad back was in so much pain but of course nobody cares about you in those places but little Wray did, an inmate is only allowed one mattress if you don’t have a bunkie your still not allowed to use the other one, not little Wray, when she worked 3rd shift she’d let me use it and would wake me up in the morning before shift change, she risked her job for me, that says a whole lot about what type of person she was. Mr.and Mrs Wray you had a beautiful daughter with the biggest heart, how very blessed I am to have known her. I’m just heart broken. Keeping you all in my prayers ????

  13. So sorry to hear of Michelle’s passing.i got to know her when she lived in Erie and dated one of my best friends! She will be missed, rip Michelle.
