Michael D. Patton, 79, of Saegertown, passed away, Monday, July 15, 2024 at his residence after a time of illness. He was born on November 9, 1944 in Meadville a son of Kermit D. Patton and Mary Pauline Bower. He was married to Kaye M. Buckley and later married Judy Ann McCall. He served his country with the U.S. Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis and was stationed on the U.S.S. Randolph Carrier. Michael was the owner of Five Star Cycle in Saegertown and he enjoyed motorcycle racing, Fox News, time with his dogs, but most of all he loved time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his first wife and mother of his sons, Kaye M. Buckley; two sons, Phil and Alex Patton, grandchildren, Dan, Kris, John, Makayla, and Maddie; and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his second wife, Judy Patton; his parents; and a son, Ross. Family and friends are welcome to attend a graveside service on Monday, August 12th at 11:00am at Southside Cemetery, Conley Road, Conneaut Lake.   1. I knew Mike as a Post Office customer when I worked in Saegertown occasionally.
    We clerks fondly referred to him as “Last Minute Mike” because he frequently showed up 5 minutes before closing time. But we didn’t mind as Mike was always ready with his packages addressed & prepared for mailing. He knew exactly what he needed as far as class of mail, insurance & signature options, and was in & out in minutes.
    We are remembering Mike as a sweet, friendly regular customer who was loved by all of us.
