MEADVILLE- Michael B. Weber, 67, of Meadville, born January 25, 1949, died suddenly at home on August, 30, 2016. He was the son of the late Kenneth E. Weber and Martha H. Weber. Michael was quite a character and he loved his family. He had a great sense of humor and was very clever and bright. He graduated in 1966 from Meadville High School and attended Edinboro University and Youngstown State University before being drafted into the Army in 1969. He went to Boot Camp in North Carolina and was trained as an air traffic controller. He was deployed to an airbase in South Vietnam, where he was injured by a grenade detonator. He had several surgeries to his left hand before being honorably discharged in 1971. He returned to Clearwater, Florida, to open a business with his friend, the late Dan Frisina. Upon returning to Meadville, he was employed at Talon for 8 years. He then retired and struggled with PTSD for the rest of his life. Guestbook

  1. My sincere condolences and prayers for you and your family during this loss. Hope you can celebrate his life in ways that would make him glad!

  2. Mike was the Best Man at our Wedding when I married Allan Needler. Mike had a rough time after VN but he was such a good guy. My sympathies to your family. Allan is already there waiting for him. God Bless you.

  3. I choose to remember Mike before he went to Viet Nam. There is so much: the first guy to wear white Levis because he worked at Weldon’s men’s store, the hanging out at the House of Lords, and chasing the girls in high school. His demons are gone now. May he rest in peace.
