Mary Snow, 71, of Franklin passed away on February 21, 2026 at UPMC Shadyside with her family at her side.
Mary was diagnosed with cancer over a year ago. She dealt with various complications and setbacks. However, her good spirits, determination, and hope for recovery never wavered.
Born in Franklin on January 31, 1955 she was the daughter of the late Edward and Katherine “Peggy” (Cummings) Last.
Mary was very social and enjoyed meeting new people. She liked to travel, mostly with her family, and enjoyed music and going to concerts. Her family was very important to her, especially her grandchildren who she loved to be with. She enjoyed spending the last few years on genealogy working on the family tree.
Left to cherish her memories are her children Cheyenne Michelle Allen and her husband, John, of Polk, Rebecca Hawke and her husband, Ron, of Harrisville, Nathan Snow and his wife, Courtney, of Shippenville and Gina Moen and her husband, Nick, of Franklin; her favorite grandchildren Gavyn, Persephone, Lillie, Emma, Freya, Brody and Silas; and her brothers John Last and his wife, Julie, of Erie and Joe Last and his wife, Kerri, of Titusville; her nieces and nephews Abagail, Kristianna (Carl), Chandler, Adam (Beth) and Emily. She will also be missed by her pug, Tipsi, her many cherished coworkers, and those who knew her.
A Celebration of Mary’s Life will be held at Gardinier-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, on Thursday, February 26th at 3:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Mary’s memory to Precious Paws Animal Rescue, PO Box 784, Franklin, PA 16323 or the local animal rescue of one’s choice.
