Mark Andrew Hawley, Sr., 63, of Union City, passed away on January 29, 2025.

Born on February 9, 1961 in Union City, he was the son of Marjorie (Lindsley) Hawley of Union City and the late Paul Hawley.

In his younger years, Mark drove log truck for local saw mills and work almost 30 years of railroad construction. He was well known in the Amish community.  He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and many outdoor activities.

Left to cherish his memory along with his mother are his children, Mark Hawley, Jr. and his companion, Sarah, of Union City, Matthew Hawley and his wife, Jessica, of Guys Mills, and Natasha Peterson of Erie; his grandchildren Alexis, Cheyenne, Matthew Jr, Shannon, Kimora,  Elijah,  Kaliyah, and Ariana; his sisters Linda Bryant and her husband, Jack, of Union City, Colleen Donovan and her husband, Jim, of Union City, and Beth Stroup and her husband, Ron, of Spring Creek; and several nieces and nephews.  He is further survived by his companion, Gina Dingman.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brothers Danny,  Paul “Randy”, and Craig.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of the Warren-Glenn Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 62 S. Main Street, Union City,  and invite everyone to a celebration of Mark’s life being held on Saturday, February 15, 2025 from 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm at the American Legion LeBaron Post 237, 9225 Rt 6, Union City PA 16438. Bring a dish if you wish.

Memorial contributions can be made in Mark’s memory to the family c/o Warren-Glenn Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 62 S. Main Street, Union City, PA  16438.
