Marjorie L. Miller, 88, of Union City, passed away, November 4, 2020 at Saint Vincent Hospital. She was born on March 6, 1932 a daughter of Claude and Eva Hurlbert. Marjorie was raised in Union City where she retired after 37 years of service at the former Union City Chair Company. She attended the Union City Church of the Nazarene where she referred to each of the members as her church family and they referred to her as a prayer warrior. Those who knew Marge were blessed to know a very loving and caring woman who would always share her faith and her love for the Lord. Addition to her parents; she was preceded in death her husband, Lyle Miller, Sr.; two daughters, Diana Hicks and Marlene Salusky; her sister, Mary Lou Whissler; her brothers, Robert and Richard Hurlbert; her daughter in law, Lou Hicks; her son in law, Rusty Smith who she loved deeply. Three years after the death of her husband, Marjorie was blessed to have met a very kind and loving gentleman, Richard Profiter where they shared a special love for seven years until his passing. Marjorie is survived by her children, Gary Hicks (The golden child), Maxine Bliss (Bob), Tim Miller, Carol Glass (Mike), David Miller (Terry), Wendy See Smith, and Lyle Miller; she is also survived by over forty grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. To the family, we were blessed to have such wonderful parents and grandparents to our children. The love and care of our mother and grandmother for each of us will be greatly cherished. Honor her by carrying that love in the world as she did. The family would like to give a special thanks to granddaughters, Christina Sill and Mandy Dingle for all of their love and care they have to their grandma. The family would also like to give special thanks to Betty and Christine who cared for Marjorie throughout the day when she was home. Family and friends are welcome to call on Friday, November 6th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Union City Church of the Nazarene, 119 S. Main Street, Union City. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm at the church with Pastor George Tutor, officiating. We will be adhering to CDC Guidelines. Burial will follow in Mill Village Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Marjorie’s memory to the Union City Church of the Nazarene, 119 S. Main Street, Union City, Pennsylvania 16438.
