Mabel A. Marr, 95, of Blooming Valley, passed away, Wednesday, February 22, 2024 at Embassy of Park Ave. She was born on August 11, 1928 in Guys Mills, Pennsylvania a daughter of John A. Mattis and Jennie Mailliard Mattis. She married Raleigh G. Marr on May 28, 1949. He preceded her in death in 1999. She enjoyed puzzles, sewing, crocheting, attending many craft shows, and was known as an avid seamstress making many wedding gowns, stuffed animals, and alterations. Mabel is survived by two children, Robert J. Marr and his wife Darlene of Gloucester Point, Virginia, Bruce P. Marr and his wife Marilyn of Blooming Valley; five grandchildren, Raleigh Beusch and his companion Diane Patton of Guys Mills, April Starr and her husband Bradley, Mandie Mahoney and her companion Jason Boor, Matthew Marr and his wife Katie, and Josh Marr and his wife Olivia; nine great grandchildren, a great great grandchild; a great great grandchild on the way; and two sisters; Ruth H. Genis of Meadville and Erma M. Genis of Guys Mills. In addition to her husband; she was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Albert Mattis; a daughter, Diane Beusch; a son in law, Rollyn Beusch; and several brother in laws; and sister in laws. Family and friends are welcome to call on Friday, February 23rd from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville. The funeral service will follow at 4:00pm at the funeral home with Pastor Nate Alsdorf, officiating. Burial will take place at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, Meadville.   1. I always loved to see Mable. In 1974 or 75 she watch my boy, Todd, while I taught school at Randolph Elementary and Randolph JrSr High school. She made Todd a big Teddy bear which he loved for years.
    I haven’t seen her for years but I sure haven’t forgotten that sweet smile and laugh. ❤️❤️❤️

  2. We really enjoyed sitting at Bruce and Marilyn’s table and visiting with Mabel when we had family gatherings . She will be deeply missed.

  3. My husband and I lived next door in the apartment. Very nice lady to us and our family. We moved to Florida since then Melanie and Javier
