Lyle V. Tarbell

Lyle V. Tarbell, 79, of Union City, passed away, Sunday, August 1, 2021 at Corry Manor. He was born on August 24, 1941 in Union City, a son of Floyd F. Tarbell and Dorothy M. Range Tarbell. He married Grace A. O'Sullivan on October 15, 1960.
He was a 1959 graduate of Union City High School.
Lyle was employed with General Electric and retired in 1997 after 27 years of service, after retirement he worked at Union City Golf Course as grounds maintenance. He also was employed in his earlier years with Snap-tite of Union City and Joe Klick's Snowmobiles.
He was a member of Union City Christian and Missionary Alliance and the Union City Moose Club.
Lyle enjoyed bowling, golfing, nascar racing, snowmobiling, custom car shows, landscaping, and dirt track racing being a mechanic for two different teams, and earning the name "Nutsie"
In addition to his loving wife of 60 years, Grace A. Tarbell of Union City; he is survived by a daughter, Denise Lutton and her husband Kevin of Corry; a son, Eric Tarbell and his wife Crystal of Fort Myers, Florida; two step-grandsons, Bryce and Aiden; a first cousin, Shirley Seidler and her husband, Rex of Union City; and many nieces and nephews.
Lyle was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Crawford and Lynn.
Services will be announced at a later date.
Burial will take place in Lawn Cemetery of Beaverdam.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Lyle's memory may be made to the Union City Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, 2 Dowman Street, Union City, PA 16438, or to the Union City Fire Department, 50 2nd Avenue, Union City, PA 16438.
