Lloyd “L.D.” D. Bisbee, age 90, of Union City, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at the Corry Manor. Born on August 11, 1935, in Union City to Donald and Lavina Fenno Bisbee, Lloyd was a lifelong resident of the area.
Lloyd married his beloved wife, Esma L. Breed, on November 6, 1954, and they created a wonderful life together. He attended Wattsburg Schools and dedicated over three decades to his career in the manufacturing industry, working at General Electric, Sunshine Packing in North East, and retiring from Raymond Associated Spring after 33 years.
A proud member of the Union City Moose Club and the Corry VFW, Lloyd enjoyed many hobbies throughout his life. He was known for his impressive slow-pitch softball skills, earning several MVP awards as a pitcher. He also competed in a pool league, achieving a remarkable 3rd place finish in the state with his partner, Kenny Hanlin. Lloyd loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, hunting, camping, and most importantly, spending quality time with family.
He is survived by his devoted wife Esma Bisbee of Union City; three sons, Rodney (Penny) Bisbee of Union City, Gordon “Buck” (Tiffany) Bisbee of Corry, and Bob “Brutus” (Charlotte) Bisbee of Centerville; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren (with one on the way); five great-great-grandchildren (with one on the way); a sister, Karen (Ed) Post of Union City; close friends Larry and Sally Watrous of Clymer, NY, and Fred and Kathy Hopson of Union City; along with many nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Rhonda Salzillo; a great-granddaughter, Chloe Salzillo; and two brothers, Larry and Lyle Bisbee.
Visitation will take place on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and again from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Warren-Glenn Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., located at 62 S. Main Street, Union City. There will be an additional hour of visitation starting at 10:00 AM on March 21, 2026, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM at the Union City Christian and Missionary Alliance, 2 Dowman Street, Union City, with Pastor Blair Blakeslee officiating.
Lloyd will be laid to rest at Beaverdam Cemetery.
