Lillian Rae Mosher

Lillian Rae Mosher, 89, of Corry went to be with her Lord on July 4, 2025 at Corry Memorial Hospital with family at her side.

Born on May 18, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Geneva (Forbes) Maryott.

She was a graduate of Union City High School and worked in the office at the Union City Chair Factory.

On October 25, 1956 she married the love of her life, Charles H. “Whitey” Mosher. She stopped working so she could focus on raising her family. He passed away on December 15, 2014.

Rae was a longtime, faithful member and very active with the First Baptist Church of Union City. She loved to chit chat so much that she was always the last one out. She was always making cookies and delivering to those that could not attend church.

She was such a kind hearted soul that would talk with anyone, had her calendar full with all the birthdays and anniversaries for anyone she knew and would send them cards and gifts. Her family was her world, making sure she got to spend time with and spoil all of her grandchildren and great -grandchildren. Grandma Gigi had the best toys.

In her spare time, she was a master at knitting and crocheting and was very well known for her delicious cookies. She enjoyed having lunch with her family and friends and spent every weekend playing cards.

Rae leaves behind her children Chuck Mosher and his wife, Darla, Tami Jaggi and her husband, Troy, Scott Mosher and his wife, Mindy, Kathy Roth and her husband, Roger, all of Corry; her 22 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren; her sister Meredyth Trojak of Union City; her daughter-in-law Debbie Mosher of Corry; her brothers-in-law Larry Mosher and his wife, Carolyn, and Raymond Mosher all of Corry.

In addition to her parents and her loving husband, she was preceded in death by her sons Bruce and Shawn Mosher; her daughter-in-law Martha Mosher; her sisters Joyce Jones and Janet Leseur; and her brothers Ronald and David Maryott.

Guests will be received at the First Baptist Church of Union City, 16 South Street, Union City on Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 2pm to 5pm with funeral services for Rae immediately following at the church at 5 pm with Rev. Rob Weaver officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Rae’s memory to the First Baptist Church, 16 South Street, Union City, PA. 16438.
