I will miss you Uncle Leo. You were larger than life to me. Thank you for guidance throughout this life. You step in when dad was taken and embraced us Thank you for embracing my children as well. I told them that was as close to getting to know their grandfather as it gets. I know that you are home where you should be . You were a faithful servant. You were a man of honor and truth. You always held your composer no matter what life threw at you. I will remember you around the campfire with dad and Aunt Jean saying “Leo” which she seemed to say often and you having a smile. Give everyone up there hugs and kisses from me. Until we meet again know, I will always carry you in my heart

When I was little I saw Uncle Leo as a hero. I’ll never forget the day nick and I found his hat and sword. I remember thinking I knew it I knew he was a knight! I mean what else could he be anything less than a hero I knew was a lie because he was mine. I love you Uncle Leo and even though I have missed you for a long time today I’m missing you even more. God speed Uncle Leo until we meet again.
